King Neptune Project
When Booth Memorial was first contacted about this project we had no idea that this project would be so huge (34 feet tall to trident tip).
Sculptor Paul Di Pasaquale (seen here just over Neptune's left thumb) is no stranger to the Booth family. In fact, David and Paul are good friends, so there is no wonder why Booth Memorial is called on from time to time to place a finishing touch on one of Paul's sculptures (see the Arthur Ashe Monument).
In this case, you can see Ross Booth below sandblasting the sculptor's name into the base of the gargantuan sculpture.
The giant King Neptune sculpture can be seen in Virginia Beach opposite Neptune Park at 34th and Atlantic. Paul claims it as his greatest success, "It has exceeded my expectations as public art."
